We have been blessed by a beautiful baby girl on Monday, November 28, 2011. For nearly 4 weeks before Aubrey's due date, the doctors had us convinced that she would meet us earlier than November 28th. Aubrey gave mommy and daddy a chance to get through the things they needed to before she made an appearance. Aubrey let mommy and daddy finish work, cook a turkey for Thanksgiving, and watch the Michigan vs. Ohio State Football game. I went into labor on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at about 3:30 p.m. and was admitted to the hospital at about 8:00 p.m. Aubrey made an entrance into the world on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 1:12 p.m. after mommy was in labor for nearly 21 hours. We brought our precious gift home on Thursday, December 1st.
Aubrey is 12 days old and is growing by the second! Aubrey loves being held, cuddled and rocked by mommy, daddy, and grandma. Aubrey is moving a lot and likes to talk. When she is sleeping, she likes to smile, roll her eyes and make faces. She is beginning to confuse her days with her nights by keeping mommy and grandma up at night and sleeping through the day. Aubrey grunts and makes faces when she dirties her diaper. Aubrey is a blessing to us and we love her very much!
My mom has been visiting and helping out for about a week. She has helped out immensely by cleaning, cooking, changing poopy diapers, rocking little Aubrey, and taking care of Aubrey; Aubrey loves her grandma! We are blessed and thankful for the help and the visit! We can't wait for my dad and Danny to visit during Christmas!
